Have to replace the screen u can cheak cables conecters pop up that top lid over the hindges 2 screws and flat head to pop it up u can see connection and how to remove pretty easy on ebay they have parts for it ok screen u need rate me as fix ya ok

Fans, mainly the CPU fan, have a speed control which slows the fan down. This is usually controlled by the BIOS. The speed is based on temperature of the CPU. If it's cool with little load the CPU fan will run very slowly and you won't be able to hear it. On startup all fans ramp up to 100% until the BIOS takes over and slows the fan down.
You may have a burnt board or the input pin is bad, try wiggling the pin while it is plugged in to see if you can at least get the fans to start you obviously have a short of power in the power button area. You may want to try replacing the power button board for your model this may offer you a solution. If you take it in they can test it with a meter to make sure that this is the problem before a board issue is determined. It is difficult to diagnose this kind of things without the machine in front of me. My advice is to take it in and have the power investigated. Just because the lighting on the battery is going and showing signs of life does not mean the power button is not bad or not getting the proper power to start the computer. It seems to me that the power button board is bad. Or the input cord pin may be shorted out and only supplying power to the mains but not the power button circuitry. Just a good guess!......John
Try connecting it to an external monitor.
When you do, as soon as you press the power button to turn on the laptop, close the laptop lid - as this forces the laptop to display on an external monitor.
If this works, then it means the laptop screen is bad.
If it doesn't, the most likely cause would be that the laptop video card went bad.
For a while, some older Dell laptops with high-end nVidia graphics cards tended to die suddenly.
