Replace the drum blade by removing drum unit and sliding out-cam developer unit with black lever on rh side of copier. remove toner waste bottle first.

drum blade comes out after popping off upper plastic cover, on front of drum unit move spring to right and take off spring which exerts tension on the blade!

BEFORE removing blade remove the drum carefully{dont scratch} with screw on front of ***'y turn t-post 1/4 turn and pull out.

blade comes up and out after pulling front side plastic retainer/tension piece out.

vacuum unit with hepa filter vacuum replace blade with new one & re-assemble-if you can locate starting powder I always powder the drum on new blade installs. This will reduce streaks in the future.
you should be able to get starting powder from precision roller.com

Need any more help just holler!

Why in the world are you replaceing the brush? In 25 years of copiers, i,ve never had to replce a brush. If its streaking on the copy, its the blade thats bad. only reason to replace a brush is if its broke, cause of a clog. just vacumm it out.

Brush won't spin when carpet cleaner is running

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If the vacuum cleaner brush is not spinning, the brushroll bearing might be jammed. Try removing the brushroll assembly and cleaning all hair, string, lint, etc. from the brushroll bearing. If that doesn't solve the problem the brushroll may need to be replaced.

The turbo brush attachment on my bissell cleanview helix suddenly wont spin. I bought this vacum a month ago. there is nothing wrong with the vacum otherwise.

The turbo brush may just need to be cleaned. If hair or other large debris gets wrapped around the brush, it can prevent it from spinning. Since the top of the turbo brush is clear, you can look in and see if there is a lot of hair wrapped around the brush. If so, you can open it up by removing the two screws on the bottom of the brush and popping the clear cover off, then cleaning all the debris from the brush (scissors work well if its hard to get dog hair off). Be careful to see how the brush goes back together as you take it apart.

If cleaning the brush doesn't fix it, the belt might be broken. As you're looking at the top of the brush, there is a little belt that goes from the brush itself to the large blue/green gear (it's red on some models) so that if you reach your hand in and turn the gear, the brush should spin. If this belt is broken or missing, it will need to be replaced. You can probably find a replacement belt online, or you can order a whole new turbo brush from the Bissell website for $24.99.

The switch of the saw is not working 00

You need an AC voltmeter to trace the problem with the switch. It can also be a bad motor brush/spring--these saws are great for killing motor brushes, and there are virtually no replacements available as Remington has ceased saw operations. If it is a bad brush, visit an electrical tool shop to see if they have something that will work from a different brand of tool. Good luck!

Dots on the left side margin

This problem comes from drum cartridge, you may try:
1) take out drum cartidge open drum cover clean the surface at leftside(using soft brush) and check drum surface at leftside, there is damage if you see the color surface appear a broken-ring at leftside(the color changed), you have to change new drum cartridge,
2) sometimes cause cartidge clean brush dirty can not do well cleaning job, just clean this parts at leftside well then turning drum a little there is no toner appear at surfac leftside if ok.

Need to replace the drum cleaning brush how do I get it out????

The drum cleaning blade removal is pretty straight forward.
1. Remove the charge unit above the drum.
2. Remove the cover that sits above the cleaning blade.
3. Release the pressure spring at front of drum unit.
4. Remove 1 screw (front side of blade at top) holding blade in place.

I noticed that you had also had a E3-40 code previously. If toner is dropping on to your copies, the toner support blade will also have to be replaced.
