Take the 2 screws out of the control panel, either in the front or back, depending on model. You may need to remove covers on the front of the panel. flip up the console. Find you water level switch, on the back of the switch there is a rubber hose. Pull the hose off of the switch and blow into it. if there is water in the machine you should here air bubble out as you blow. this should clear the line from any blockage. The machine should operate normally. most likely lint or something blocked the pressure hose.

Washer didnt fill when turned on, but filled when holding "reset"

sounds like your water level switch is bad OR the small hose that goes from the waterlevel switch to the bottom of the tank has a hole in it.Try replacing this small hose first.you can go to an auto parts store and match it up.it's usually about 3' long and about 1/4" inside diameter and about 99cents a foot.

Your fill valve needs replacing. Not too expensive to change. This is all based on the fact that you have checked both feeds to the washer hook up and that the shut off lever is fully open.

Water doesn't stop filling tub in washer, water overflows everywhere. washer doesn't wash on super/large loads and doesn't spin on any loads. washer is only 2 years old

water not stopping filling is the pressure switch its a long thin tube that goes from the bottom of drum to the front top about the thickness of a pencil this needs taking off clearing through and checking for pin holes then refitting this should solve water problem

Getting top off of automatic washer kENNMORE BRAND

You start out by taking the screws out of the console. These screws should be located under the snap off caps on either side of the console. Pop off these caps (front of the console, on either side) and you will see the two screws in the bottom corners. After removing these screws, pull the entire dash unit lightly towards you, the swing the console up and over the back of the unit. You will see 2 gold colored clips on either side of the unit top. Remove these clips by placing a screwdriver in the front most area (area closest to you) and just pop the up, the swing them out of the retainers in rear of the machine. Unhook the set of wiring that goes down into the unit (lid switch wiring). Swing the cabinet at a 45 degree angle towards you, and then lift the hole cabinet off. You will have total access to the interior of the unit. Installation is the same as removal, just be sure you get the front of the cabinet under the lip in front, and the rear of the cabinet gets placed back in the small notches when you fold it back. Let me know if you need further help. Good Luck!!!!!
