For the Wii, if you don't remember your parental control code, you can reset it using a "secret question" answer. Since you bought it from a pawn shop, you probably won't know this either. This is not an error with Netflix, but rather it is an error with your wireless network set-up. I have seen many people have trouble connecting the Wii to their home networks, and it does not appear to be very user-friendly. if there is no lights going on at all while the power is plugged in and you pressed the power button.
it is pretty safe to assume that either the power unit or the wii is not working anymore.
but if you bought it last christmas you should still have warrentee and nintende should be able to fix this.
