My hand set was blocked i entered PUK,immediately it asks me enter new pin what i have to do

You may enter wrong PIN three (3) times only. After that your PIN will be blocked! To unblock, you need PUK. You can only enter wrong PUK ten (10) times. (This is as documented) After entering correct PUK, you will be asked for NEW PIN.

So, when it says "PIN blocked. Enter PUK code", you must enter the PUK. If you correctly enter the PUK, it will asked for new PIN, by asking "Enter new PIN code:". Enter anything you want as your PIN. You will be asked to enter it twice (two times).
From what I read from your post, you have done correctly, but you don't want to enter new PIN. There is no way SIM card/phone will use old PIN. The device doesn't know your PIN. So, you have to enter new PIN.

if you enter the wrong pin code for 3 times your sim will get blocked ...
it will ask for the puk code ...
then you must call to the customer care of your network provider from some of your friend s cell of same network connection and you must tell them that your pin got blocked you want the puk code ...
they may ask for the details of your sim card be sure to tell it ..

then they will provide the puk code note it down and enter into it ..
your sim will get unlocked...

if you enter the wrong puk code for more than 3 or 10 times the sim will get fully blocked if then you must contact to network provider shoppe....

i think you blocked the pin code by entering the wrong pin code for 3 times so it is asking for the puk code ..

to get puk code you must follow these steps :

1. call to your network provider customer care

2. tell them that your pin code got blocked you want puk code

3. if they ask any details about the sim card owner you answer that one ...

4. then make a note of the puk code and enter in to your cell

in order to unlock the puk code you will need to contact your net work provider who will give you a puk ot enter in the phone in order to use it .

as youve entered the puk code, it asks for the new pin code, the default code was 1234 right? so if you are going to try the new pin code yu can either invent a new pin code or just enter the default code.

if your phone is asking for puk code then ring your operator and they will give you the code for free over the phone thats the only way of getting puk code as its different for every service provider but they will provide code for free so give them a call you can also get it off their website sometimes so have a look call them they give you code
