I moved two years ago and lost my control and manual. recently I got cable and connot program it in because there are no out side controls. I have tried buying remotes but cannot get them to work. Please help
Getting replacments is one way, another way is try to get a universal remote- costs around $20 for a good one and they will work for all your home video & tv STUFF! This should work, but make sure you get a good brand remote, cause otherwise it wont work with the TV or any of your other stuff properly! Hope this helps...

Not to discourage you from repairing this TV. In almost all cases, these TV combos are extremely difficult to repair. Even when these were new, if they had problems you will not get a long lasting repair.I would suggest you find another TV. Please refrain from purchasing any combo sets. Your best bet is to purchase a TV and DVD or VCR player as separate units. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!
I have a Panasonic TV with built-in VCR, I had Comcast put in a converter box and was given instructions on how to set up the system to record my wife's programs, I had to select the program (in advance of scheduled time) to be recorded through the TV & converter box to the VCR. Next styep- select "Show" and I received a menu the first of which was "R" I clicked the "R" and a menu for selecting Repeat record start/stop times appeared Click OK and was then directed to to set up the VCR according to Panasonic VCR instructions. Worked for a day then the "R" menu on the converter box disappeared. Both the VCR and TV had to be set to Ch 3 to get it to work, But that's history. When it quit working ("R" menu), I had Comcast come get their box . PS The tech who showed up to pick up the converter box knew nothing about any "R" (record) menus except on the most ecpensive converter box. That cinched my decision, Oh Wel!. Sign me Tom with less trash to watch.
I found these remotes control VCR's only when programmed into the DVD button. It even says on page one of the manual that the DVD button is for DVD's, TV/VCR's, VCR's, etc. I got code 607 to control my GE VCR (using the DVD button). If that doesn't work, try 572 647 563 609 644 645 or 531.
