I have a paper jam at the beginning with the printer and after I cleared the jam and replaced the drum and the waste bottle, the printer doesn't work and error code appears as: CALL SERVICE 7410:0041062.
Even I turned off the power and unplug the cable, the error message didn't go off. Please advise.
Thus: Switch the printer off again and take the DKU out inclusive toners. Open the left flap and take the toner receptacle out likewise again. Directly beside the toner receptacle a small lever/switch is on the right side. Pressures these upward and solve so the drum of the printer from the version. It pulls out a piece and presses it then again in here, so that engaging is to be heard. Now again the toner receptacle, as well as DKU+Toner reinserts and starts the printer.

the error is for the drum not being set in place remove the process unit and open the left side cover where the drum is located. Remove the toner waste bottle and make sure the drum is pushed in all the way if it is you may need to replace the drum.
If you open the door on the left hand side of the printer, where your waste toner container goes and press firmly on the drum which is located behind the waste toner container and close the printer backup. If the drum is properly seated the error should close.
The error 7410 is for the drum not being set in place the numbers after that just resemble page count, remove the process unit and open the left side cover where the drum is located. Remove the toner waste bottle and make sure the drum is pushed in all the way if it is you may need to replace the drum.
most likely the drum popped out.
open the left side cover and remove the waste toner bottle..seated just above the waste toner bottle..press on the drum unit that sits above it..you will here it pop back into place .. if you hear it snap back it simply power off than back on printer....
if the drum is seated correctly.. than you need to replace the drum unit
Oh yes 7410 know it well and it is always an easy fix.. forget the digits after the :0041407 , thats how many pages you have printed...41thou
7410 aka Drum is not in position, a jam or press of wrong button in area of waste bottle causes it to move out of socket a tad.
Ok first step, open lid to remove toner but DONT unlock toner from dev unit, no press nothing, just grab the toner unrealeased and lift up, the whole toner and developer unit will emerge.. put it down on level surface.
Open left door and remove waste bottle, Now have a look just above waste bottle area for a little 2cm square grey flat button, this is drum release. Push against this area gently, pushing into the machine from left to inside, drum should move a tad and button should click, put back in waste bottle, slide back in dev unit, power on, your done..

Error code 7410 indicates that the drum unit is not installed correctly. This is usually caused by dirty contacts or a faulty drum unit chip. First remove the toner and developer unit, then the waste toner bottle. Unlock and remove the drum unit by depressing the catch that sits behind the waste toner bottle and pulling the unit out to the L/H side. Be very careful not to scratch the drum and avoid strong light as it is easily damaged. Clean up all contacts and refit in reverse order. Hope this helps, if not you may need to buy a new drum unit.
Hi, Sound like drum unit is out off position.
Switch off printer.Open left side door, remove waste toner bottle and push drum unit(with grej lever on it) in printer to proper position.If grey lever is not in proper position, drum will be not locked.Place waste toner bottle in position.Switch on printer.
