Question about Magellan Maestro 4040 GPS Receiver
Often when I turn on my unit, it thinks I am at the last location it took me to, which could be several days ago. I type in a new destination, but it is starting me from a weird location, not where I really am. Turning it off and then on doesn't seem to work, and I usually have strong satellite signal and power. Sometimes if I drive for a while it will regain its correct location and recalc the route.
I can understand the problem in the unit so to over come this problem you have to reset the unit .When you reset the unit surely the unit will show your current location address and also it will not recalc the route.
Follow the steps to reset the unit :
On the left hand side at the lower bottom coner you can see a small pin hole there named as reset .Just insert a paper clip in to the hole when the unit is on.this is the way to reset the unit......
