Xerox C2424 problem (11,009:46 and 13,008.47)

Hello..

I have the captioned problems with my C2424. The first code refers to the harness and the electronics module. I do not know what the second code refers to.

The manual states to run some tests on the system. However, it does not give what the proper results for these tests should be.

Does anyone have any experience with these problems?

Thank you
Kevin Lee

The second fault is a result of the faulty electronics module. It is a print head heat related issue.
Question is, is the print head also faulty.
That electronics module is very expensive.
But the 11,009 specifically is a failure of the electronics module.
Have had those codes a couple of times.
Most likely the 50 volt source has failed, that maintains the print head heat.
A Drum Assembly thermal error has occurred. The following troubleshooting procedures apply to these errors:

This type of code has not recovery procedure which could mean replacement of hardware component. LL-56 refers to a power board fault on the printer and occurs during power on self test.

Refer page 1-10 for the code description in this service manual.

System fault code 10-389 won't clear

Hello.

System Fault Code 10-389 refers to a Fuser Nip Contact Failure.

To service the Fuser Nip Failure problem, you'll need a specialized laptop called a PWS (Portable Work Station).

So, unfortunately, this problem needs to be handled by a professional service tech.

Hope this helps.

Xerox phaser 8560 error 04,018.48:26

Hello, this fault code indicates a problem with the process control system. The printhead temperature dropped below the head cleaning needed threshold and that's why stops warming up.The first you need to do is to verify the temperature of the room that the printer is,if its too cold, near from an open window...If was too cold and not in the room temperature then move the printer and your are done.If this doesn't solve your problem run the Monitor Heaters tests with all heaters ON.Are the heaters operating correctly? If yes replace the Electronics Module. If no you have to inspect the harness to the failed heater. Is the harness damaged? If yes you must replace the harness. If no replace the problem component.
Good luck:)
