You can downoald the user's manual from here: http://www.tomtom.com/support/support.php?ID=3&Language=4
To change the home address, tap on the screen to get the menu. then tap on the "preferences" icon. tap on the blue arrow until you see the icon labeled "Change Home Location". Then you can choose to enter and address for your home location, or one of your favorites or a recent destination, or a Poin Of Interest, etc..
Tap on your TomTom One screen to bring up 'Change preferences' then scroll right by taping on the right arrow to locate 'Change Home location' and then either enter from 'Address' or 'Recent destination' .
Hope it helps! Let me know how you go.
military addresses generally are not included in map data as for the TomTom you will find that it can navigate you from a point on a military installation to a point off of the base but never to an address on the base
I have seen this when entering addresses with a letter in them such as 3N124. The address does not enter correctly you will get the wrong address and location. I am trying to find
out if the tomtom supports this address. So far I have been told, NO, by Tomtom support person, but have a hard time believing this since a Magellian accepts this and works. However I have seen a Magellian get my location wrong. I believe the map needs updating. Check the location by view route and zoom in on the location, does the address equal the location that is off if it does it is most likely the map is the problem. If the location equals the address entered maybe the sound is off, stop before entering your home and check the location vs your location on the map. Check you map year, also have someone else check with their gps, might help.
