    What happened when you tried to transfer songs to your sansa? do you get any kind of error? how do you try to transfer songs to your device...i have aim messenger..I am online now so you acn hit me up there and i can help you...belbwa2004@aim.com

The Driver Might have been misplaced for it
My Solution would be to install the disc if it came with one or go online to a website with drivers and download one the microsoft one is allright

This player isn't capable of playlist transfer - you can only create a playlist on the go from the player itself. You will have to transfer individual songs only.

You can go to Apple.com and download iTunes. You can then transfer music to your ipod.

If change the setting of the 605 to "hard disk" then a PC sees the 605 as a hard disc when connected using the usb lead. You can then copy and paste files directly to the 605..

It should tell you in the instructions that you need to download iTunes for Windows since it sounds like you're not on a Mac. All the controls for transferring music and synching photos etc are in iTunes. When you attach the iPod, you're connecting it to allow the transfer of files as though it was a USB Flash Memory stick, but this allows you to store other files such as Word docs on the iPod -- it does not allow you to transfer music. A big part of the reason for this is the digital rights management that the music labels insist upon.
