Problem for GE Profile Spectra JGBP90 Gas Kitchen Range
Self clean wont work
Everything works besides the self clean feature. I followed the instructions. It just doesnt heat up. The display says its on and the closck is counting down but the thing doesnt heat up!!!!!!

- Bake and broil both light up within 30 seconds. 300 is the time on the clock when self clean count down begins. I checked oven after 1 hour of count down and no heat. yes first time trying self clean we just bought the house with this oven in it.Jan 30, 2008
- with the door lock light on the latch locks the door and i cannot open the door ( i suppose thats a good thing!)By the way thanks for trying to help...have you seen this before?

- i have a GE model JPB26GVSA this stove was given to me my a friend it was working fine there now we moved it when you turn the oven on (any temp) the delf cleaning light comes on if you let it run the sc mode it smokes really bad (so it needs cleaning) but it will not go into just the regular bake mode any ideas?- frazerjr
