Usually to reset the cars system computer, you can disconnect the positive battery lead from battery for a few minutes. This may also clear your radio station presets as well.

The 1,2,3,4 preset buttons on your radio toggle up only through the digits 0-9. The 1 preset button is the first digit holder, and so on for the 4 digit code. If you go too far just keep pressing the button, and it will go back to 0, and you can get back to the right number. If your unlock code has a 0 in it you have to press the button once to get to 0. It starts with a dash (-). This doesn't count as the 0. For instance if your unlock code is 0873, you will press preset 1 once, preset 2 9x, preset 3 8x, and preset 4 4x. Once you have the correct number in the display press the "CD" button, and it will unlock your radio. If you didn't do it right, it will display "ERR1" before going back to the "CODE" display. Don't mess up more than twice. After the third failed try things get a lot more complicated. Good Luck Tim

its normaly by pushing one of your preset buttons when the radeio is off also if that dont work hold your function or menu button for 3-5 seconds with the radio off and look for a menu that allows you to turn off demo mode.

There is a reset button just to the right of the CD slot, it looks like a reverse dimple. use a ball point pen and push it in and hold for 3 seconds. when you release it, all the settings will go back to default and you will loose preset stations, however, it should release or play the disc. Hope this helps

Mode button unresponsive in my 2006 dodge dakota radio.

After sitting all day in the parking lot at work, I started the truck to go home and everything seemed back to normal. There must be some sort of time related reset. I have not tried pushing the MODE button again and probably won't until I need to.

Audio out put on Eclipse CD3402

jimmyt67- Most units have speaker outputs, as well as rca out puts. I guess it depends on which you want to hook up, the speaker wires are white, green, greyand purple, the negatives are the same color with black stripes. The only time you only have only rca is on high end competition stereos, and the only time you only have speaker out,is on a low end model.I do have a design to put rcas on any deck. I hope this helps ,either way let me know. cooltek Mar,3/08
