Hello! Daniel Busa here with Dish Network customer service. The blue light simply means tv2 is up and running, you need to get the green light on. If it's still down hit th sat then power. If that doesnt work, hit the channel up button on the box system info should appear hit record three times, and then select, then power and it should start running again.
its a risky for you to open the monitor and repair its power supply, coz its your monitor's power supply prob..

it looks like the Inverter's gone in your screen, it works like a starter in a florescent tube, it 'kick starts' your screen to come on. Turning it on/off many times eventually 'kick starts' your screen and makes it come on eventually.
Happened to me too. It takes some disassembling!!!! Between the screen and the underlying circuit board is a rubber strip with conductive material throughout which provides ''ground' for the display. This rubber wears out over time, but the quick fix is to turn it a quarter after cleaning and treating the contact surface with 'contact spray'( sparsely!!).
Sounds like its simply going into power save mode. Does your screen come back on when you move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard? Is the computer still on? Check your power options in control panel.

turn on ps3 leave on stand by (red light), hold eject button and power button until you hear beeps and a message appears. connect controller and press ps button. system restore screen should appear, select restart system and from there it should restore everything back to normal.
