same problem with an 80 in 1 games cartridge, # 80D01. The background on the message looks like the blue windows vista one. I'm sure these are probably bootleg cartridges but there must be a fix. The problem is that no menu is accessible to erase data.

bought an 80in 1 card in tenerife - played fine for a short while but now says not enough free space when clicking on any game. I assume that the card has so much memory and when playing on games the save file clogs up the spare memory - Anyone any idea how to free some space up. The card is similar to a standard card - no ejectable memory card or anything like that.

Is it possible to connect the DS to a PC with the game in to erase some data?

What kinda files do you see in the list after you start up your DS. Do you only see your games or are there other files availabe.

And if you only see games, what happens after pressing the select button, does there come other files up to the front.

Maybe you can erase unnessessary save files from games you didn't play recently?

Thiis game you bought... is it a N-Card, R4DS, M3 or EZFlash5??? What is it, cause you cant have a 20 in 1 game, they dont exists, if its one of this, I will suggest erasing 1 game so you can access the other ones, the problem is that when you play a game it generates a save file and it consumes space. So good Luck!

You need to get something like this

This is a special card with adapter that lets you copy files into the card, so if yours is like this, you will need the adapter which is a special one and lets you add or remove things to the card, good luck!

You have to access the SuperCard memory and delete or make a backup of some of the files in the card to make place for the save files.

Usually sellers fill the flashcart memory to make it more attractive because buyers think as many games, it is better. But they dont consider the space needed for each save file and that is why so many lack of place errors and flashcart blockings...

I am not sure what type of flashcart is that but there out are only 2 classes and the ways to access the memory to make place:

1. Internal Memory FlashCarts: as the memory is embeded you do need an additional flashlinker or link cable to access the memory. Some of these are like a slot2 GBA game or other forms.

If not included with your card you have to call your seller and ask for it, or directly buy one specific for your cart. So you need to identify your flashcart name, brand, etc.

2. External Memory Flashcarts: these ones are much easier to access as you can take out the flash memory and plug it on some easy to find flash memory reader, usually one is included with the card.

Hi How do I save progress/lives on the new super mario game on the DS lite please? My friends kids can all save on theirs? Thanks

The only way to save is to beat a castle. In any given world you have the halfway point which is a small castle and an end point which is a big castle at the end. Once you beat either castle a question appears at the bottom asking if you want to save. Just pick yes and you must play from there to the next save point in the next world. TIP: also the big coins you get in every level can be used to open up prize rooms and whatnot, every time you open a prize room or different path the game will prompt you to save there as well. Very helpful near the end when the levels become excruciatingly unforgiving.

I can't save progress in Animal crossing! >< plz

Sorry, that's not true. You can save anywhere in the game by hitting the start button, whether or not you're in your house. To me, it sounds like your game file is corrupted. Your only option at this point is to start over again. If it doesn't work after that, you should buy a new game.

DS won't save Pokemon Platnium progress. The screen says "There is already a saved game file. It is impossible to save. Please refer to the Instruction Booklet for details.Press Up plus B button on the...

Whats happened is you have started from a new game while an existing save was there. There is no way to save your current progress, however the origional save will still be there. You can either turn it off and start again from the previous save (by selecting the top option at the first menu) or if you want to start right from the begining and be able to save you will need to delete the old save file. I believe the reason for this was that so many kids losts their game that may have taken month (or years) of playing by a friend or sibbling trying to play the game from the start and then save - which would delete the other game save.

My progress is not saving on Professor Layton

i had this problem and then I realised that when you click save, you then need to select which file you want to save (generally in your own name) it will then pop up with "progress saved" - simply selecting save is not enough
