HP Pavilion Laptop

When I start my computer it vibrates really bad. Then through out the day ... the fan starts working 'really' hard to where it sounds like an air plant taking off. THe airplane noise gets more frequent through out the day. Suggestions?

Disk boot error

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.

The cooling fan in my HP SYSTEM HAS BEEN MAKING NOISE FOR SOME DAYS NOW. WHENEVER I SWITCH ON MY LAPTOP, IT WILL BE VIBRATING. PLEASE, HOW DO I STOP THE NOISE?

This problem can be solve by replacing the fan if you are familiar with your laptop you can replace it but if not I suggest you should bring it to a technician, because laptop is very sensitive and very difficult to remove the housing and it can save you from stress good day and best regards.

CPU fan not working computer shuts down. Replaced fan and it still does this? Hp Pavilion 9597c

Its possible that the Motherboard connector for the fan is not putting out power. there are CPU fans that use a standard 4pin Molex connector, that is what I would suggest you use.

Notification that cooling fan not working properly..system shuts off after a few mins of use.. or freezes

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this helps

try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then
click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive or
control panel administrive tools, computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart
then defragment your hard drive
scroll to the bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click you can select task manager applications also processes you will see whats running on your computer you might have virus slowing your computer also select users you will see who is using your computer
dont forget to vote
hope this helps

My computer is becoming really hot and noisy. After turning on the computer, everything is good (no noise). Once around 15 minutes passes by or I open up a lot of programs together, my computer starts...

Sounds like the fan is wearing out, as it heats up the fan needs to spin faster and if the bearings are wearing out it will start getting louder and it will also get hotter because the fan cannot keep up the heat being produced. You can replace the fan, most computer shops will carry replacements, also get a can of compressed air and give the inside of the computer a good cleaning. This will help keep things cooler as well. Also make sure that the air vents on the outside of the case are clear as well.

Computer is loud when watching videos

this is due to the unit trying to keep the video card cool. this is set by the laptops bios settings. make sure you are not obstructing the fan intake and exhaust port.

Fan starts runnung fast and everything is frozen

Overheating. Try using canned air and blowing out vents. If you are comfortable with it, take the laptop apart and clean it out. If not, contact a local computer shop that can do it for you. If cleaning doesn't do it, the CPU heatsink will need reseated or the CPU will need replaced.
