Question about Philips 50PF9630A 50 in. Plasma Television
I need to know how to remove the right side Menu Panel. the ON/OFF button has been mashed into the side where I can't get to it! Button is turned side ways.
The control panel is fairly straight forward to get at.
Reove the stand from the tv, and lay the tv, screen down, on a flat surface. You should lay a cloth of some kind to prevent scratching to the casing.
Remove all the screws from the central metal plate on the back. You will need a torx T10 driver for these screws.
Carefully remove the plate. Note any cables which may be attached.
Remove the screws from the outer back casing and remove the casing.
The control panel is held in by two screws. Remove the screws and re-position the control panel. If the control panel is damaged it can be replaced.

Hello, you're supposed to put the TV on the screen carefully. Remove the screws of the lid back and assess the damage. Usually it is possible to catch the break, or improvise in any way, the switch back in place.
Let me know if it worked out, or if you need additional guidance
