How to enable touchpad

On some laptop machines there is a switch on the pad you just have to push to activate the touch pad. If the touch pad is not activated, your using an external mouse instead unplug the external mouse because it is conflicting maybe some laptops you can use both the pad and a external USB mouse at the same time. If this does not activate the pad then you may have to go to dell.com and download the mouse pad driver again for your make and model. More than likely either way this will fix the issue for you. How can I wake my computer from sleep or hibernation?

On most computers, you can resume working by pressing your computer's power button. However, not all computers are the same. You might be able to wake your computer by pressing any key on the keyboard, clicking a mouse button, or opening the lid on a laptop. Check the documentation that came with your computer or go to the manufacturer's website.

Activating COT2 wireless mouse

Your ACME COT2 wireless mouse must have come in two pieces, the USB connector the mouse itself.
Insert the USB connector of your wireless mouse to your Toshiba Satellite and press simultaneously the button in your USB connector and the button in the wireless mouse. This is done in order to pair the mouse to the USB connector.

Microsoft wireless 4000

Screen saver mode, as you know, is entered when the computer senses no activity (including mouse) for a defined period of time. for some reason, the computer thinks there's been some kind of activity. If you have an extreamly sensitive mouse, vibrations could be being picked up "tricking" the computer into thinking there is activity.

The other possibility is that the computer might not be able to respond to the mouse if it went into screen saver mode (perhaps a preference setting with the wireless mouse) and has decided that while operating using a wireless mouse screen saver will be deactivated. Look into your preferences or settings relating to the wireless mouse.
