I lost my CD to install BenQ scanner 4300. Pls assist with the installation software now.

Possible issues:
You are using Vista or x64 OS- no real drivers available - try 3rd party VueScan software.

Or USB problem: try using different USB ports and switching USB cable with your printer.

Finally, BenQ scanners are easy to open: unscrew the bottom, make sure the ribbon is securely fastened, the gears are on the rails, etc.
