Question about RCA Lyra RD2765 MP3 Player
My mp3 player worked for about a month and recently stoped working corectly. When i goto play music it says "Profile your music" then when i hit menu and go to the profile button it says "hard disk full" then it restarts itself and does the same thing with no luck. what do i do?
This is most likely caused by the Lyra being nearly full.
First try deleting content to free up 15MB of disk space. Then profile the device contents.
If that's not successful, connect the USB cable to the device while pressing the enter button (Play/Pause). Continue to hold the button in until your PC recognizes the device. This will connect the player as a mass storage device with a drive letter in Windows Explorer.
In Windows Explorer, navigate to the drive letter assigned to the Lyra and locate the Lyra_Sys folder. Within that folder you should find the local.lrd file. This contains the information from profiling.
Delete the local.lrd file, then safely disconnect the player from the PC.
The embedded profiler should then work correctly.
