Question about Dell Inkjet 720 Printer
I'm trying to get a dell 720 printer to wok with vista. I've downloaded the vista driver from the dell site, but when I try to run it the installation wizard always snags on a bit where it asks me to connect the printer cable. It just says that the installation can't go on until the printer is connected and then refuses to recognise that it is. The cable is definitely connected (vista itself keeps recognising the printer and trying to 'help' by set up drivers). And the power is on, what am I doing wrong?

The solution work great after a lot looking for answers! The thing that I did not like about it was the down load time but that not your problem but mine. Thanks again.

The drivers below are a 32 or 64 bit machine. You can find out which your system is my click on start and right clicking on my computer and from the drop down menu select properties. It will tell which your machine has.
This is for 32 bit
This is for a 64 bit
