I am having a K800i sony ericsson mobile phone. Suddenly it was dropped from a bunker bed top and after that the camera function stopped. Later on mobile started giving network coverage problem also.
i took the phone to the local serice centre and he told me after inspection that camera is problem, need to be replaced. For antenna he said once the camera is replaced with the new one. this network problem aslo would be solved.
Do assist me in solving the above problem.
Thanx in Advance
Re: K800i camera not working and no netw. coverage
Before sending the phone away try flashing the phone. It does cost a small ammount but if it cures the problem it will cost a lot less then a new camera. I suggest wotanserver for this but make sure you read the user guide before you try anything otherwise you could easily wipe the entire phone and completely kill it.

triangle means roaming if its a red triangle then your internet is turned off while roaming
go to options>mobile network> data services and select what setting you would like either on all the time, off, or off while roaming
solid triangle means extended network (coverage with another carrier that your service provider has an agreement with). some services might not work
blinking triangle is roaming (on a network with no agreement)...most carriers have simply disabled roaming entirely, you either get their network, or extended network to avoid additional charges. int'l roaming is different, not restricted. if you're near either of the borders, i'd say choose "home only" under network options to avoid int'l charges
Try setting your handset to manual network selection and select the network for your connction provider. If you don't roam around much, this works well. Please revert back to the automatic network selection if you go on Roaming.
