Go to the control panel. Open wireless connection wizard and configure it by giving the proxy setting of the router. There must be a DNS server to get you connected with the Domain.
First your os xp or vista
if u xp means go to network connection and see that tab, wireless network wizard and click next to open to next to next and click finish. It will appear in network connection windows. But u want to take airtel broad band wireless net key, and u open the tab if u finish ur network wizard tab. And it will open the icon it ask for key, u give it key to continue. It will ready to access the network, so this is the way

    More detailed troubleshooting steps:
Does your computer 'see' the network?
Does it see the signal? If it does are you pulling a valid IP address (192.168.X.X)? Also known as connected, no surf.
Check your Internet connection with a another computer.
Check for firewalls or security software.
Are parental controls turned on (controled through your browser or firewall)?
    Check your browser.
Try to completely re-move and re-create the connection.

The computer 'sees' the signal but does not pull a valid IP address.
Are the WEP Key and SSID entered correctly?
Try to completely re-move and re-create the connection.
Are you using connection profile software?
Check for firewalls or security software.
    Check the adaptor Configuration.
    Up-date the adaptor drivers.
    Check the adaptor.

The computer does not 'see' the signal at all.
Try from differant locations in the park.
Are you using connection profile software?
Check for firewalls or security software.
    Check the adaptor Configuration.
    Up-date the adaptor drivers.
    Check the adaptor.

Drivers for ADSL DGB111G router

No, the drivers only go up to Windows XP.

However you do not need the drivers to setup the router if you do it manually over a Ethernet connection.

You only need a copy of the manual to login correctly.

But it is no longer available.

How to Set Up a Netgear WGR614 V5 Wireless Router
Netgear routers--like all wireless routers--give you the opportunity to access the Internet with your laptop or wireless-adapted computer from virtually anywhere in your house within range of the router's WiFi signal. Though slightly different in appearance from other router models by Netgear, the WGR614 V5 acts similar in its setup process as others such as the WGT624 or WNR1000 series routers.
Things You'll Need:
Netgear WGR615 V5 routerNetgear resource CDEthernet wireBlue network wireModemComputer
1 Prepare to install the Netgear router. Log off and shut down your computer system. Turn your Internet modem off and/or disconnect its power supply from the electrical outlet. Take out the contents of the Netgear router box and verify that all the essentials are present: the resource CD, the yellow wire and the router itself.
2 Connect the Internet modem to the Netgear WGR614 v5 router. Locate the yellow Ethernet wire running from one end of the Internet modem to the computer's Ethernet port. Unhook the computer-end of the Ethernet wire and insert this end into the port on the router labeled "Internet." After inserting, confirm that the wire runs from the modem to the router.
3 Connect the Netgear router to the computer. Grab the blue cable supplied with the router. Securely insert one end of the blue cable into one of the four "LAN" ports on the router (the "LAN" ports are labeled with numbers from 1 to 4). Insert the other end of the blue wire into your computer's Ethernet port.
4 Start your network devices. Turn on or connect your Internet modem to an electrical outlet. Wait for at least two minutes to allow the modem to fully boot. Plug the Netgear router into the wall or electrical outlet as well, and wait one to two minutes. Turn on your computer.
5 Look at the Netgear router to verify that all lights are on. The "power," "Internet" and "wireless" icon symbols on the front of the router should be solidly lit. One of the four "LAN" ports should also be lit with either a green or amber color.
6 Insert the resource CD that came with your Netgear router to launch the "welcome" screen. Select "Router Setup" from the menu to begin the "Smart Wizard" setup application. Read and follow the setup steps, including naming your SSID (secure set identifier) or "network name" and setting a level of wireless security. Finish the setup process, ending with the registration of your Netgear router.
7 Verify that your Netgear router has been set up correctly. Open an Internet browser from both the computer that is connected to the router and on a computer that has a wireless card or adapter. Surf to your favorite Internet sites to verify your connection is working. Open your "network connections" utility on your operating system and make sure it shows that you're connected to your own wireless network.

I use AOL as my ISP, with British Telecom supplying my telephone line rental. On Friday 2nd my internet connection kept dropping out, and then eventually stopped connecting altogether. My original router...

If BT tested the phone line is OK but did AOL test the connection to the Netgear router and get the IP address of your Netgear router.
The phone connection is OK but the ADSL connection from the telephone exchange may not be working, that is why you are not getting an ADSL light.

Netgear wireless wgr614 is configured and the ports wired connected and is working ok while wireless portion the laptop running vista says connection is limited and unable to browse

If you connect the computer to the router , it works.
That means the wired connection is OK.
Open the set up page of the router check the wireless settings of the router.
I think your network is secured and you are not typing the correct network key.
just open the router set up and check the wireless settings .

Occasionally I cannot go online because my computer says no internet access. I unplug the router for 30 seconds, plug back in, then it is working properly. Is the router defective? I have had the router...

It could be your router is becoming intermittent, but also your ISP connection could be dropping and not resetting properly. I have this issue occasionally and it is the ISP generally dropping my connection. Only way to test is to try a known good router and see if it corrects the problem. With data speeds increasing it is getting more difficult for the ISP to provide reliable service especially over ADSL. I went 5 years without EVER resetting my ISP connection, then started having increasing difficulties with my connection in the past 3-4 years due to higher data rates being introduced.

Does anyone know if my netgear WGR614v9 can handle an ADSL+2 connection?

Hi,

Please note that the router WGR614v7 is a cable dsl router and will never handle ADSL connection. For ADSL connnection you need to purchase router model number DG834Gv5.

Hope that clarifies the doubt!

No, you can't connect your router directly to your ADSL. Maybe you should try a wired router.
