I hooked the hd chord to the ps3 console and now i have no sound what might be the problem

Sounds like the Video device for your PS3 has died. You will have to either replace it, or contact PlayStation about getting it repaired.

with a normal 3 color chord.

tear the white and red ends away from the yellow one and hook the yellow one into the T.V., and the red and white ones into their correct spots in the surround sound system.

Seems like you need to enter MAC Id in your router setup...

I had this problem myself. What I found was somehow the output resolution on the PS3 was changed to 480. If you change that back to 1080 it should work.

it might need to be pushed tighter into the console and the tv but this may not work seeing as i do not own a 360 just a ps3

go to another tv

when u connect ps3 to your tv turn on main switch now red led will come on press and hold touch button ps3 will come on keep your finger on the button and ps3 will turn off again factory settings are now reloaded this will work because i often change from standard v to hd tv

turn the hard switch off in the back of the ps3. Put your finger on the soft power button on the front of the ps3, keep your finger on the soft button while simultanesouly switching the hard power button to the on position.

Keep you finger on the soft power button for approx 10secs, this will reset your vid settings on the ps3.

Hi there, Have you checked that the HDMI Cable is inserted into both your PS3 and HDTV correctly ? if the cable moves about in the HDMI port that causes static sometimes ! Also check that your cable isn't damaged.

If the problem persists. i would just Use your Composite (Red,Green,Blue) connection from your TV to your PS3. you said it doesnt have static problems. and Using the composite cable you can still get the Full 1080p Resolution on your TV that the PS3 can Up-Scale to!
