Question about Canon IXUS V2 Digital Camera
If you can see an image, then maybe the ribbon that connects the lcd to the camera came loose some how. If you see nothing them maybe the lcd is damaged. If it is still under warranty then contact canon, if it is no longer under warranty, you can try to do it yourself. Here is a great tutorial, but i'm not sure if it includes your camera: http://digitalcamerarepairlgooglepages.com
