Had the same problem. Just fixed it as suggested by some of you. Had to delete every file on my F480 and then re-sync everything. Very annoying! But thanks for your hints!

Hi im from DK both me and my girlfrind have the same phone, and Samsung support DK said that it is a knowen error in the phone. My phone has that same thing and my girlfrinds phone works perfect. Does any one know what causes the network error to happen?

HI, I too have the same issue and Samsung Tech support in the UK were happy to blame everyone - me, Vodafone, Microsoft, Ossama bin Laden - but not, under any circumstances take any interest or responsibilty at all. If any Samsumg managment ever see this, TAKE NOTE - this is how you loose customers!
So, rant over, the 'fix' is to delete all the appointments, addresses etc from the phone by hand (delete all, enter pin ifyou have set one) and then rsync from the PC.
I think the problem is caused by ML Sync getting upset at 'odd' or corrupt data from Outlook, which I found when syncing Outlook with a remote ML Sync server for another purpose.
More software implmentation if you ask me..
Also, one last bit of advice to amsumg, look at the excellent Phone Sync software Nokia suppl and DO BETTER THAN IT! The current Samsumg offering sucks. It is poorly designed, requires far too much user intervention and is badly integrated. The Nokia package just works. Walk into the office, your phone connects via Bluetootth, sysncs, downloads and deletes photos and signs off, with no user intervention at all.
Hope that helps!

I got the same error ...
i have fixed it by deleting all meetings other than "Schedule" in the phone's calendar ...
if you have meetings in your phones calendar which are saved as "private or anniversary, ...", the sync will fail...

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Dec 14, 2010 | HTC Shadow Smartphone

method1: The easiest way to do this is to sync your Palm Desktop data with the PIM on your Yahoo account. It's free so if you don't have a Yahoo account sign up and get one just for the transfer. Once your DateBook data is on Yahoo there is a simple to use option to sync Yahoo to Outlook. once all your stuff is in Outlook it will ActiveSync to the PPC
method 2: install the Outlook and then the Palm sync conduits and sync their datebook, notes, tasks and contacts to Outlook. install Activesync and sync the pocketpc and they get their data. you can also use pocket mirror software for this.
method3: Install ExtendConnect from Extended Systems. Then sync first with the Palm. Then sync with the Pocket PC.
