Actually I buy them in lots of 1000 and I pay 38 cents each for them. They are 24k gold plated. They are the real deal. If you do the math you can see I do not make much of a profit at all on them.

MY GTO 7001 HAS ITS LIGHT WORKING, BUT NO POWER COMING OUT.

Make sure your rca jacks are plugged into both your headunit and amp. Also make sure that the amps filters are set so that the amp plays all frequencies and doesn't block out any.

Toxic tx 600 amplifier

You need to get another amp for your sub. I would say if you want good quality go for MTX because I have had amps from MTX and never had a problem. what you need to know is look at the fuses on the amp if there are 3 of the 25 amp fuses on there then it should push out about 750 watts but on MTX they under clock the amp so it will push about 800 at 14.4 volts for that you will need a 4 gauge wiring kit with a 60 amp fuse in the fuse link. As far as your other amp hook up the speakers and tweeters to that but be sure to tune in down and you would need a 8 gauge wiring kit. I hope this helps you.

I have a JBL GTO 1201.1 mono amp and I have a kicker L5 solo baric with dual 2 ohm coils how do I run it to get the full power out of my amp?

You will not be able to get the full power from the amp without ruining your sub. The amp puts out full power into a 2 ohm load so option -A- is to just run one coil off the sub and it will absolutely pound -until you roast the coil. Then you can use the other coil and roast that one too. But since you do not want to roast anything-first thing to do is take it to the store and trade it in for a dual 4 ohm sub-wire the coils in parallel and there's your 2 ohm load to achieve max power from the amp. Problem there is that you will have WAY too much power for the sub to handle and you'll blow it anyways (in time).Best thing you can do is get an identical sub(dual 2-ohm) wire the coils in series which will make them 4 ohms per sub then parallel the subs to get back down to 2 ohms overall-you get max power from the amp and hopefully enough speaker to handle it.Hope that helps.

How i wire my sub to my jbl gto301-1iiamp with 2 Hifonics HFi12D4

If the amp is 1200 watts at 2 ohm stable you will want to set up the speakers as parrallel and bridge the amp. That means conncect the speakers with + to + and - to -. Look at the amp connections. Usually thereare connects that look like this:
+ -
+ - + -

If yours look like this use the diagram on top. You will use the + for the left ouput on the amp to the right - on the amp. This will allow you to use all the power from the amp. Be sure to lower the gain as to not pop the speakers or amp.

Finding the best amplifier

Hello sharky75,

That 1600 watt peak power figure for your subwoofer can't tell you what amp you need. You need to know the maximum RMS power the sub can handle. And you need to know the impedance (ohms) of the voice coil(s). JBL GT5 series subs have an RMS rating of 275 watts. The GTO series handles 300 watts. The Power series handles 400 watts. The GTi series handles 700 watts. Some are single voice coil, so the impedance is fixed. Others are dual voice coil allowing you to wire them for different impedance loads.

For maximum performance your amp should be able to provide at or near the same number of watts RMS into the lowest impedance at which the sub can be configured. For example, if your sub is the Power Series Model number P1224, it has dual 4ohm voice coils and can be wired to present either a 2ohm load (parallel) or an 8ohm load (series). You want to wire the voice coils in parallel for the 2ohm load and select an amp that outputs up to 400 watts RMS into 2ohms. The Orion Cobalt CO8001 is just such an amp. If you have one of the GTi Series subs, a better amp would be the JVC Arsenal KS-AR75 which outputs 700 watts into 2ohms.

Hope this helps.

JBL GTO 301.1ii protect mode

Hello roets81,

Check the voltage at the amp. It's possible that the voltage is either too high (above 16V) or too low (below 8.5V). Also make sure that the amp case is not grounded. If these check out OK, the most likely cause is that the amp itself is defective and requires service.

Hope this helps.
