There is no specific torque for spark plugs. Simply tighten them down nice and snug with a 3/8 ratchet not a 1/2 ratchet. You may over tighten them with a 1/2 ratchet!
The table below lists the torquing specifications for most spark plugs being installed in either cast iron or aluminum cylinder heads. Torque values assume clean, dry threads.
Its usually from the center out in the next most opposite bolt (star) sequence. ie. if its a 14 bolt head 1-7 top, 8-14 both from front it would be like 4-11-3-12-5-10-6-9-2-13-6-8-1-14-7. you just want to avoid tightening a bolt outside a non torqued bolt to prevent head or gasket damage. torque specs are done in degrees, ie 44 ft/lbs, then run it 15 min then tighten another 33 degrees, then run it another 10 minutes and final torque another 25 degrees.
You should try removing the spark plugs and going over the end with some sandpaper. The problem may be something else completely, but sometimes the ends get a little dull and they don't 'spark' as well as they should. Be careful though - only remove them if you have a torque and you can tighten them up again at the required torque setting.
if you are facing this only under cold condition please do say it . i will say whats the problem there.
it doesant sound like its a problem from your spark plugs sounds more like a stepper motor problem make sure you have fitted everthing correctly after you have changed spark plugs sensors ect if you needed to remove elctrical sensors

M52/S52 The water drain plug is located on the exhaust side between cylinders 4 and 5 in the engine block (illustration). M52TU / M54 / M56 The water drain plug is located on the exhaust side on cylinder 2 in the engine block.
Drain and dispose of coolant.
Installation: Replace seal. Tightening Torque, refer to Specifications - Mechanical.See: Specifications Vent cooling system and check for leaks, refer to Engine, Cooling and Exhaust - Cooling System - Service and Repair - Procedures.See: Service and Repair Release belt pulley,Release water pump.,Tighten two screws (M6) into thread of water pump and water pump out of timing case.
Installation: Replace O-ring and coat with coolant as anti-friction agent.
