Systemax ascent won't stay powered on

I usually don't power the machine down. When I do power it down, I sometimes have to push the power button a few times before it stays powered on. This time, it won't stay powered on at all.

Any ideas?

Verify some connection setting toward the power supply. please test the PSU if is working. if not then, you should examine the PSU for fault. if find fault in the PSU should fix or let the repairman fix it for you. However if you want to repair PSU you can provide a new one in the vendor where your system from.
Please leave comment b 4 you rate for further discussion on the system, thanks, melnavz.

I recommend that you replace the PSU, Power Supply Unit with a new one, this is a simple task. Remove the plug from Motherboard remove the four screws from the PSU at rear and get a replacement one say a 450 Watt job. Install and ya be good to go.

I have a systmax Accent model# syx-ms-7309 I am needing the board that is located on front panel that has the spk mic and 2 usb ports. Do not know a part # or where to get one.

I don't think these are standard interchangeable parts. Not to say you can't find out there, but they are usually part of the case itself. So you would have to go to the manufacture instead of a regular PC parts storet. Your best bet is eBay or other outlet the sells used units.

Systemax Ascent HA3200 RTS won't boot - fans come on - no display

The motherboard seems OK as it is displaying signs of life. The Monitor should display something before booting up, which it is not. Please do the following. 1. Remove the RAM and reinsert the DIMMs into their sockets and boot up. 2. Disconnect the HDD data cable from the HDD and the motherboard and reconnect. Boot up. 3. Disconnect the monitor and reconnect. Boot up. At boot up press F2 and set the PC to default settings. Boot up. Later when you want to apply your settings, keep noting down what you did when. Just in case.

Random shut downs

Check the CPU fan it may not be spinning at the full speed or not turning at all. Check that there is not cable that is obstructing the fan blades. When the CPU over heats the machine will shutdown to save it from any damage. Then other thing to check is the power switch make sure that it is not sticky or stuck in. It also could be a memory issue but normally there will be a blue screen fault and audio beeps when you first switch on.

Try these Thanks J
