I have done a system recovery and now i can't reinstall my printer

Did you remove the printer software from within control panel. Add/Remove programs? Power off the printer while doing this. Restart the pc when done. After windows finishes starting, power on the printer. Windows should see the new device & ask for the software. Without knowing the model No of the printer & your operating system there is little else I can do for you.

Go to Printers and Faxs in your start menu. Look and see if your printer is listed. If not choose "Add a Printer" on the left side of the window and go through the steps to install the printer. Let me know if this works.

Unsupported printer cartridge


uninstall printer, reboot and then reinstall using the lexmark printer cd or downloaded drivers.

I have added a printer that is a lexmark but it does not even try to print I donot think I have the right port # can you help me


Try this:

1. Unplug the printer from the port.
2. From Control Panel > Printers remove all printers.
3. reinstall the drivers from Lexmark.
4. re-boot
5. plug printer back into port.

My easy share 5100 all in one keeps telling me it is disconnected from my pc. i have checked the cable and my plug in. i can also print from copy mode but i cant print from my documents. or my pictures ,...


Try this:

> Unplug the printer from the usb port.
> From the Control Panel > Printers, remove all printers.
> reboot.
> reinstall the drivers
> plug the usb cable back in.

Fonts do not print as large as needed is printing in landscape even when if portrait is wanted


Go to printer properties and in bottom right selct Portrait as opposed to Landscape.

What printer is it? New/~Old?

go into device manager and delete your drivers for printer. then reinstall drivers from disk. or download drivers from manufator and reinstall.

Ok if your printer is usb, then you need to install the software FIRST before plugging the printer into the computer via usb.

On the right it will say what OS do you have. Select your operating system. DOwnload the driver for the printer. Prolly the first one displayed, then download the driver. Install it.
