    Hey there Cool Guy,

I am a new technician and was testing this site for help when I need it. I Called my buddy who owns a TV Repair Shop, and without blinking an eye said it was the Optic Block, I will replace it and respond.

I was right, It was the Optic Engine,

I replaced it and it's working Great !!!

I think the controller IC chip has gone kaput. BUT, it could also be just a software glitch. So, try a hard reset and see if it solves the problem. If it does not you will need service. If still under warranty the factory service center should take care of it.

Do a hard reset by unplugging the power cord, as you have been doing, but a complete reset requires the power to be unplugged for at least 4 hours. Then when you turn it on all the internal soft codes will boot up to factory default settings.

Also, just in case there are loose connections or cold solder joints at the root of the problem, with your hand or fist go around and smack on the cabinet front, back, sides, etc. to see if that will wake up any dead connections.

Let me know the outcome

Dont forget to rate me as fixya..

Common parts are still available, but custom parts such as a power transformer and certain Integrated circuits may not be.

Because there is a very high statistical probability of another failure
soon after the repair. Why? Because there are hundreds/thousands of
parts in the set and millions of transistors inside the ICs. They
follow a statistical pattern of failure and one failure means another
    one could come any time.

If you were a technician and could fix it yourself - or had someone in
the family who could fix it for free or for parts costs it might be
    worth it.

this sounds like a bad power supply. a repair cost will range around
120-200. samsung tv's are not what everyone thinks they are. they do
not last long. i would not have it repaired. invest into a newer tv.
pay a little more and get a sony it will last longer.

    good luck :)
