Detergent doesn't dispense from the drawer

Remove the drawer and clean it thoroughly, also clean the drawer area of any detergent residue. Check that there is water flow into the drawer from the inlet nozzles above it.
Make sure you are putting the detergent in the correct drawer compartment. If it still persists further investigation of the feed in and out pipes will be required..

Soap residue remains in the detergent tray. Why.

Residue builds up no matter what the manufactures claim.

Once in a while, remove the detergent drawer. Pull it out gently until it stops. then push down on the black tab at the washing machine end of the drawer and while pushing down, pull the drawer totally out. Take it to the sink and wash it out with an old toothbrush.

Servis wp1249f2w leaving powder in the drawer each time, any solutions?

Stop using powder. Use liquid instead and see if that makes a difference.
First off. Before changing the detergent clean the residue of the powder from the tray.
Another thing to keep in mind is the type of detergent.
You want HE detergent. The reason for HE is it uses less and leaves nothing behind. ( HE stands for High Efficiency detergent.)
Hope this helped.

The detergent dispenser on my Malber P31 has become detached from the functions panel. The plastic has snapped away gradually from each of the 7 screws. Can it be fixed?

At some point the support came loose and when the drawer was pushed in at probably broke more of the plastic away from the mounting screws. The only way to fix it properly is to replace it with a new one.

What brand of detergent should i use

I have had good luck with the powdered dishwasher detergent from Wall Mart's brand Great Value.

Before I switched to this brand I had to clean the washer drawer several times because the detergent I was using was not dissolving properly and would leave a residue in the bottom of the drawer and on the dishes.

The fabric softner is not draining during the cycle

Normally caused by undissolved soap residue. Switch off machine from mains, Remove detergent drawer from washing machine, there might be a small plastic clip that need to be levered by hand before the drawer can come out completely. Soak detergent drawer in a tub of water, rinse under tap and wash thoroughly until all soap residue has been washed away. Replace drawer.

Dispenser tray removal

hi, nikoltheis! i'm not sure if we have exactly the same model, but it should be pretty close. here's what my user's manual says:

Detergent and fabric softner may build up in the dispenser drawer. Residue should be removed once or twice a month

- Remove the drawer by first sliding the safety latch to the right, then pulling the drawer out until it stops.

- Reach back into the left rear corner or the drawer cavity and press down firmly on the lock tab (left rear portion of the drawer). Pull out the drawer.

- Remove the insert from the bleach and fabric softner compartments.

- Rinse the drawer and inserts with hot tap water to remove traces of accumulated powders and liquids. Large amounts of fabric softner residue may indicate improper dilution or that more frequent cleaning is required.

- To clean the drawer opening (the empty area left behind when you remove the drawer) use a small brush to clean the recess. Remove all the residue from the upper and lower parts of the recess. (The picture shows this being done with a tooth brush.)

- Replace the insert pressing "X" to lock it in place. Return the dispenser drawer.

Good luck!

Detergent trouble

hi there,

sounds like the detergent dispenser is not working properly.

are the rest of your dishes clean? in other words, is there any food residue on them?

check the dispenser and make sure that there is nothing visibly wrong with it.

if the problem still persists, replace the dispenser.
