Dishwasher stops mid cycle

My Asko D3120 dishwasher stops mid cycle. I have recently returned from a months vaccation and when i returned my dishwasher will not run properly. It starts ok goes through the very first little cycle which fills the bottom of the diswasher with water and then it shuts off. I am left with a diswasher that has water in the bottom. When i repeat the cycle again it does the same thing, except the water in the bottom drains and then water is pumped back into the bottom and it shuts off again. There is constant power to the dishwasher as the cycle light remains lit. Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My renlig dw45 will not shut down. It is stuck at what seems to be draining the water. The only thing that shuts it down is killing the power. Once the power is back the machine starts doing the same thing even though it is powered off.

Hi,

Do the foll. things:

1)Check if there is water on the bottom pan. Remove the panel down on the backside of the machine and look. If it's water there, wipe it well up with a towel or so. 2)if ur dishwasher doesn't starts then: First, check the usual suspects: Make sure the circuit breaker isn’t tripped and that the wires at dishwasher’s power junction box aren’t burnt. If all that checks out, then go right to the control panel area.
Asko dishwashers have had problems with the wiring in the control panel area burning or melting– very messy. While your problem may not be as dramatic as that, the problem may still be visible. You may find burnt or discolored wire terminals or the spades on the start button switch may be burnt– anything burnt or discolored has to be replaced. You can buy any replacement parts you need right here.

Goodluck,

Hi, my D3120 Asko dishwasher starts but stops after about a minute. If I press the start button again, it starts but stops again. What's wrong?

When it shuts off, is there still water standing in it? First, you need to know if it stops because the pump (that pumps OUT the water) is working. When it stops, do you hear the water draining? ...(through your sink drain). Many times the tube that pumps out the water is clogged from food matter stuck in the drain tube. If you had a disposal put in recently, there is a plug that has to come OUT of the disposal to hook up the dishwasher drain.

Try pouring water from a bucket through the front. maintain the level. It should not overflow.

Run a empty cycle. If there is a air block it will get cleared.

I had to slide the dishwasher forward (undercounter installation)and tip it forward as far as possible. Water leaks onto floor, but then the internal controller seems to reset and the ASKO now works normally again. What kind of idiot would design a control module that does not incorporate a power-off interlock? FAIL FAIL FAIL - Bad, ASKO, Bad. Go to your room.

Remove the backpanel of the machine, and look if there is water at the bottom of the machine. If so, use a towel or so to dry up the water. This should solve the prob.

I got this with another dishwasher. On that one it meant the water wasn't feeding into it (tap switched off, kink in inlet tube, etc.)
