Hi! i bought a kenwood stereo from my uncle ,its a kenwood ddx 6019 but as soon as i connect it a screen comes out saying enter passcode, i understand its a security feature but my uncle forgot the passcode.. can you help me please!!!

Could be the ribbon cable from main board to the face of radio?

Im gonna order it and replace it myself...
Its either pink or brown. Most likely pink as most people buy the downgraded version of this player cause its cheaper. Just connect the pink wire to a chassis ground and you can play dvd's while the car is moving.

Other wise just connect the wire to the e-brake. Careful! That stereo drains your battery quick if you watch movies on it.
Enter the security code using your Kenwood remote. For the DDX6019 The key sequence to enter the security code KCAR is: on the side of the remote there is AUD, DVD,TV. now enter 55 in the AUD then go to DVD and enter 2 which is fast forward then go back to AUD. Do the same for the rest. 5 5 fast forward 2 2 2 fast forward 2 fast forward 7 7 fast forward
i forgot my password to my kenwood ddx-6019 dvd player and the codes that you listed didn't reset it is there any other codes that might work??? or is there like a reset button that i am supposed to push please help me out same problem

it sound to me like you have a broken connection on yourvideo out jack on the main unit becouse you say the lead is fine and the tv screens work with another unit.this can be caused by the plug being pulled out in a wrong angle. ask an audio dealer to chech the solder connections in the unit to see if they are making a connection with the pcb(printed circuit board. hope this helps
