Question about Frigidaire 24 in. FDB510LC Free-standing Dishwasher
I HAVE A KENMORE 665 DISHWASHER FOR ABOUT 9 YEARS NOW WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS I NOTICED THE SOAP DISPENSER WAS NOT EMPTYING ALL THE WAY. HOW THE DISHES ARE DIRTYER THAN WHEN I PUT THEM IN SO I CALLED THE WARRENTY REPAIR MAN HE SAID THAT THE HEATING ELEMENT WAS FORCEABLY I REPEAT FORCEABLY BENT THERE BY PUSHING THE CORNER OF THE HEATING ELEMENT DOWN AND BURNING A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM AND THAT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE PATCHED AND THAT WAS ABOUT 5 HOURS OF LABOR OR BUY A NEW ONE. HE SAID THE WARRENTY DOES NOT COVER SOMEONE FORCABLY DOING THAT . I LIVE WITH MY DISABLED 76 YEAR OLD MOM AND I KNOW SHE DIDNT DO IT. WHAT WOULD CAUSE THAT? ALSO I FOUND A PLASTIC WHITE CLIP IN THE BOOTTOM OF THE DISHWASHER (I THOUGHT THERE MIGHT BE A FORK OR SOMETHING AT THE BOTTOM SO I CHECKED) .HAS THIS MODEL #665 BEEN RECALLED OR HAVE ISSUES?

hi their problem prob-ely caused by loose connection to heater, as far as repairing the hole is concerned i would be cautious as if fault was to reoccur you could have a potential fire hazard
