Question about Nokia N73 Cellular Phone

Nokia N73 is not recognized by my PC

My dads (!! =P) Nokia N73 is not recognized by my PC (an Acer with Vista) when i connect it with the USB-cable that came together with the phone... I have downloaded the software Nokia PC Suite and all that, but it still doesent work... Its the same with my Handycam.... But my own phone and my old camera works so it cant be something wrong with USB?? Please help! Thanks alot!!

    Nahh Joshy999... Didnt work, but thx very much for trying! (It is like the PC doesent know that my phone is there... and the phone doesent know its connected)

It could be that the n73 drivers you are using arent' for vista. is for the latest version and is vista ready

Cannot connect my phone nokia n73 to pc

first download and install latest Nokia PC Suit..connect your phone using Nokia DKU-2 usb data cable..u can also transfer data using "data storage mode". pc suit mode is much better and safer but a bit slow as well..

its not only pc suite that needs to be installed. You also need to install nokia connectivity driver. This willl install your usb cable.

You can download the connectivity driver from the nokia link below.

Also cross-check if your usb cable is well connected to your phone and computer.

I am not able to connect nokia n73 to pcsuite to syncronise

uninstall all software and driver from nokia including the cable driver. You can uninstall from add and remove program in control panel if you using XP.

Download latest PC suit or OVI from nokia official website. Install it. Restart your phone. Connect your phone with cable to your pc suit. If it still din detect. Run the connection wizard, make sure the the USB cable is tick.

N73 Software update 4.0839.42.2.1 failed

remove the cable and before update make a backup then download the nokia software updater from here then wait about 15 minutes thats what the softare tells after that your phone is updated if
