Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 Digital Camera
Hi, i recently bought a brand new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 camera and i accedently droped the camera.it fell on side where u ut the a/v cable.
all the functions are fine accept when a picture is taken it shows many horizontal lines in the picture.but in display it shows fine.and when i use it in movie mode, it works just fine.
Please help me on this.
It also can be the lens or mainboard. I have replaced ccd with lines in the pics with a good ccd from another camera,with same result. I replaced the lens with the ccd in question and camera worked fine

It is a bad ccd it need to be replaced some time you can get lucky by resetting the camera in the setup menu.When you take a picture the image is transmitted throught the ccd and translates the image to the cameras memory. It can be fixed. Or you can upgraded. Some places might offer a trade in value on your camera even if it is broke. end of Quote: i hade the same problem this guy knows the way of the lcd's
