Question about KitchenAid 24 in. KUDI01FLSS Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher
We just bought our house not long ago and it came with a Kitchenaid dishwasher. It was working great until a couple weeks ago. The start button would only work when it felt like it, and now it wont work at all.
I am having the exact same problem with ours. I decided to take it apart and have a look. After unscrewing all the stainless torx bit screws on the inside of the unit you can access the control panel. Underneath the buttons on the unit there is a circuit board with the switches mounted to it. The start switch on the board is corroded. I tried cleaning it but it did not help. On the board there is a part number stamped 8530995. I have found the board online for $47 and I've ordered it. The board pops out and has a connector attached to plug it in. To access the board you'll need a set of torx bits and a flat head screwdriver.

If you have replaced the control panel then it is the
electronic control board that is bad and should be replaced. If you have
replaced the electronic control board then check the door latch, it can be due
to the latch & control not operating. Hope this helps...please post back
with its model no. for further assistance.
