Hi, you need to perform a factory reset, follow these instructions:
Turn tablet off. You may need to use two hands in this process to press and hold buttons properly.
Turn on the tablet with power button, wait a full 2 seconds from the time the tablet starts showing the red Motorola logo, then press and hold the down Volume key. (you should not hold down the power button after it turns on and logo appears)
"Android Recovery" will appear on top of screen if timing is done correctly. Release volume button. (if you continue to press volume down at that message, the message will cycle through "RSD, Fastboot, and back to Android Recovery. Make sure message states Android Recovery before you go to next step). If stuck at a RSD protocol or Fast boot screen, reboot the tablet by holding power button then pressing the volume up).
While screen states "Android Recovery", Press volume up button, the screen will say "Entering Android recovery mode" and a few seconds later an Android robot graphic will appear alone on the screen. Release buttons.
Hold down power button and then press the volume up key together to see the Android Recovery screen menu selections.
Use the volume buttons to move up and down through selection in this menu.
Using the volume down button, scroll down to "Wipe data/factory reset"
Tap Power hard key to select option.
Scroll down to select "Yes, delete all user data".
Tap the power button to select. Wiping and formatting data will take a few minutes.
You will return back to the Android recovery screen menu.
Tap the Power button to "Reboot system now" which will power-cycle tablet and eventually power back on to the Initial Set-up / Welcome screen present when you first turned on your tablet.
if you just need temp access and you can log into the google account associated with phone. Then you can: (With phone on) go to play.google.com from a pc. log in. and search for lock screen bypass. select your device and choose install. give it a few minutes to complete. reboot phone and wait for a bit and you will see the screen lock bypass app show up. click add admin account. sometimes it will throw you back to lock. just reboot and do it again. once you are at screen lock bypass app after adding admin account press BACK (pressing home will usually result in lock screen). And when you first boot phone its good to wait at least 2 - 3 minutes before pressing back to home screen. (I see better result and less lockscreen hiccups.) once you are finished you can reboot phone again and when bypass pops up you can uninstall from there. While in backup your data and do a factory data reset afterwords to get back into your phone properly.
Unplug your receiver for two minutes. When the first screen pops up I think it says acquiring satellite info do the following.
With the remote press menu then go to settings then setup then reset
and press restart everything . Just remember to reset your times and settings on the dvr. It may not work right away, just keep trying, including unplugging the infernal machine!
Turn off the pc, disconnect the power cord. Remove the battery. Leave it alone for a few minutes. Plug in the power cord (do not replace battery yet) and turn it on. If it works, turn it off, remove power cord and replace battery. Plug power cord back in and turn on pc again.
Hello,
It looks like a dead hard drive... To check your hard drive and see if you can repair it yourself,
reboot your computer
press simultaneously the "cmd" and "s" keys at startup
if you see a black screen with white text, type:
fsck -f and hit enter
this does a "file system check", when finnished, type "reboot" and press enter.
If nothing better happens, you'll certainly have to brinng it to an Apple Authorized Center
Best regards
my screen is not appearing it started last four moths after some few minutes the time comes and when any of the key pad is pushed sudden it will vanish and the screen turns white.
Well, first thing would be to turn off screen saver. Right click on the screen anywhere, go to properties, screensaver, from the pull down check none, apply and close. May need to reboot.
then let's see if it's a screensaver problem.
Good luck
