LG tromm washer is stuck at 22 minutes and just keeps washing and spinning

Sometimes the firmware or program in the microcontroller of the machine gets scrambled due to electrical spikes or fluorescent lamp frequencies in the vicinity of the machine.
Unplug the mains supply for about 10 to 20 minutes and retry, this will normally solve the problem as the firmware program resets itself.

Drum hitting sides of machine in spinning cycle (unbalance)

It sounds like you may have to many clothes in it. Try to remove some or reposition them. Sometimes the clothes get pushed to one side of the drum during the spin cycle and all of the weight to one side is making it off balanced.

Hswf 147 hoover washing machine wont spin

Not spinning at all can sometimes be caused by a blocked filter or drain pipe. Does your machine spin if you turn the dial to the spin only setting? Ours has developed a fault whereby it won't spin at the end of a normal cycle, but if I turn the dial to 'off' then to 'spin only', it will spin.

The machine will not spinn, the washing is very wet when finnished washing

clothes are wet after spinning this is due to faulty Motor coupler. test the motor coupler, re-start the washer in its spin cycle. Let the machine run for a minute, and then open the lid and notice whether the tub is spinning:If it's spinning when you lift the lid, the coupler is fine.If not then the coupler is broken. It has to be replaced;.This plastic-and-rubber component is mounted to the shaft of the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time, the coupler wears out and fails. When that happens, you need to replace it completely. ----------------------- If the washer doesn't reach its proper spin speed, the clothes may be too wet at the end of a cycle. Check to be sure the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again. If the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn motor pulley or tub bearing. Replace the applicable component. Thanks.

I have an lg washer wm2077cm and it goes off balance when the spinning cycle starts and the stops.

Sometimes if the heavy bed spreads or curtain may cause this problem. Switch OFF machine manually and restart after the spin stops.
If problem repeats.
Check springs or shock obsorber inside the machine. The tub will be suspended with this.

Washing machine

Hi,

Here is what I suggested to another person with a similar request......

Not knowing what model machine you have, I would hazard a guess and say it is your break solenoid or break arm or a variation on a break system.

After the spin cycle, the break solenoid or break motor engages a break arm to stop and lock your spinning drum. The loud clunk is normal especially in Simpson and Hoover top load machines.

You can check this by putting the machine on a spin cycle. Once the machine gets up to speed, open the door. You will hear the clunck and then the drum stops abrublty. When you close the lid again, you will hear the solenoid release the drum, and then the motor starts spinning the drum again.

If that is the case, it is normal and no need to worry about it. However, if you did not have the noise before, then best to get a repairer to check it out.

Regards
Ash

How do I set the washing machine to spin only on a Hoover Nextra HNL662?

Adjust the timer to the end of any cycle. The pressure switch will recognize the water presence, and drain before spinning.
