Question about Acer Aspire 5630 Notebook
I want to connect my laptop to pc (without bluetooth or internet but by simply using a transfer cable- I have an UTP cable) How can I do it ? What kind of cable is required ? Will it be done by simply connecting the cable ?
pls illustrate the process.
Hey there parug1987, you can connect the two computers as long as they both have network cards i.e. ethernet port. You will need a crossover cable specifically to make the connection. Also, only connect them when they are both powered down. then start both fully, allowing the new connection to be recognized. From here you can run the network wizard and choose your options. This is a short term solution. If you want to have them always connected I recommend you use a switch or router for better results. Good Luck!
