Problem reading dvd disc

It stopped reading the disc in our dvd player. We bought a new one, and it won't read from it either. We get the blue screen with name of dvd brand, and a little pie shape circle in uppr right corner goes round and round and never finishes. We can hear the dvd player running. We have tried different cables, different Video settings(1-4).

hi there

that only means that it has difficulty reading the disc that you inserted.

have your disc cleaned and try to check if it will do the same thing with other discs.
