check the phone book entries...possible the names are appearing twice in the phonebook...or the format in which nos are saved could be diff from the format of numbers u get message ...eg : u might have stores only no and when u recieve msg it might come with a 0 or country code too
Hi, you can delete selected message recipient by using Conversation View in Nokia X3. Please open Messages menu and select Conversation view, now select option on any message recipient then select Delete Conversation to delete the messages sent by a particular recipient. You can delete Calls from the log by opening Log Menu and selecting "Clear Log lists". You cannot move any Messages directly to the Memory Card or to a folder in Memory Card. However you can backup all Messages, Contacts, Calendar, Notes...etc to the Memory Card by going>Menu>Settings>Sync & backup> Create backup option. This will create backup on which you select like Messages, Contacts...etc to the Memory Card. You can restore the created backup by using the "Restore backup" option in the same Sync & backup Menu. It is also possible to restore the backup by directly opening the backup file which you have created in the Memory Card.
Ok..........un plug the set and your cable or sat reciever.........plug back in to reboot both........be sure your set up shows captions and text "off"
Next step if this does not solve is to play a dvd and see if ok. this will separate the tv from your cable or sat reciever. If still continues your set may have corrupted data in the eeprom and need main board. Try the ez stuff first!!
there is a sprint sms timestamp patch that you can download on to your phone that'll show the time of an incoming message. It works fine on my treo pro.
Step 2) Select drive C: or D:
depending on the memory in which the Sms messages have been saved.
C-phone memory D-memory card
Step 3) For example u selected c: ,
Then open "system" folder.
step 4) Then in "system" folder open
"mail" folder.
step 5) Then in this folder u will see different
folders (eg 0010001_s) and certain files (eg 00100000). These files are
the actual messages. Browse through every folder and open all files till
u get the sms u are looking for.
Step 6) For opening the files
don't choose options>file>open as it will show format not
supported rather choose options>file>hex/text viewer. By selecting
the "Hex/ text viewer" u ll be able to open and read the deleted SMS
message. Your rating is highly appreciated on this
matter.
You can't save your call log but to save text msgs. you press the blackberry button on the msg. u wanna save then scroll down to save. BUT if all your msgs., call log and BB msg. are constantly getin deleted the try getting a new battery.
