Call into your unit, press the * key twice, enter your pin and listen to the menu options. If you need the manual, you can go to www.cordlessrepair.com for a free download. Look on the left hand side for user guides and manual link, that will take you to a list of manuals for your model. In the meantime, if you forgot your pin you will need to reset the pin and choose a new one since remote admin will not work with the default pin of 0000. If you need to reset your pin, on your base push Menu, scroll to System Settings, then dial * 6 5 #, that will reset your pin. Then go back into system settings and change the default pin of 0000 to a four digit code you can remember. Once that is done you can call into your machine remotely, and when you hear your greeting playing dial * twice, enter your pin and your in.

To hear the recorded calls from another phone on the GE model 2-9868A answering machine:

First push the SET button a few time to hear what you security code is. That is the number you need to remember.

The when you call the recorder for another phone: wait for the announcement to finish and after the BEEP: dial in that security code

Lost my pin to access messages. The phone model is a Panasonic cordless Model TGA542AL.

Which model of Uniden phone do you have? Do you remember the PIN that you have programmed into the phone? (If the PIN is not set, you can't access the answering system remotely. The Uniden phones that I know don't have a default PIN.)

For the DCT648, to access the messages remotely, dial your phone number and wait for the system to answer. Press 0 followed by your 2 digit PIN (within 2 seconds of pressing zero) while the greeting is playing. To play back all of the messages, press 0 2. If the unit is off, then you need to press 0 followed by your PIN (within 2 seconds) after 10 rings and the beep. Press 0 6 to turn on the unit.

Other Uniden phones use a 4 digit PIN. On the DECT1080, when the greeting plays, press * followed by the PIN. Then press 01 to play back the messages.

Uniden phone manuals are available at the product page (start at http://www.uniden.com and search for your phone) or from the Support page ( http://www.uniden.com/scat/cordlessphones_mnl ) . On the support page, you will need to use the drop down menu to change the type of phone (if you have a DECT phone) and then search through the pages. The manuals are listed in numerical and alphabetical order. One manual will cover several phones if the phone supports multiple handsets. So ignore the number after the dash if you can't find your exact manual.

If you add a comment with your phone's model number, I'll be glad to check the specifics for accessing the answering system for you.

I hope this helps.

If you haven't changed it, the remote access code is 111.

You can download a copy of the manual from the manufacturer's web site at
http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG9331.PDF

The remote operation instructions begin on page 37.

Remote Message Retrieval
You can operate your answering system from a remote location using any touch-tone
telephone or the handset.
Remote access away from home
You can check, play, or delete messages, even record a new greeting message when
you are away from home. Additionally, you can turn On or Off your answering system
from a remote location.
Remote access:
1) Call your telephone number and wait for the system to answer. If the answering
system is off, it will answer after about 10 rings and sounds a series of beeps.
2) During the greeting message (or a series of beeps when the answering system is off),
press 0 and enter your PIN code within 2 seconds (see "Setting a PIN Code" in your owners manual.
3) The answering system announces the current time and the number of messages stored
in memory. You hear "To play incoming messages, press zero-two. For help, press onezero".
You will hear a beep.

4) Enter a command within 15 seconds, each command there after must be entered
within 2 seconds. You may select a command from the following chart:
For your convenience
a remote operation
card is provided for
you to use while
away from home, it can be found in the back of your owners manual.

the current message.
** For Memo Record and Greeting Message Record function, the first time you enter
the corresponding command, it starts the Recording function. If you want to stop
the recording, press 0 then 7 or 8.

5) After the command has finished, you hear intermittent beeps indicating that the
system is in the command waiting mode. You may enter another command at this
time from the chart above.

6) When you are finished, hang up to exit the system. The answering system
automatically returns to standby.
Your machine automatically has a PIN set of 80.
If you are trying to use remote access from a cellular phone and having trouble: Try changing your tone length on your cell phone to long.

I don't remember how to access my kx-tga931t voice messages remot

There should be a 2 or 3 digit number that you can recall on the main base. Once you have that number you call your number and as the answering machine starts press # then enter the number. Hope this helps.

How to set up the security code to check my messages when not at home.

Allright,

Well for starters if you need a manual for that you can get it here:

http://www.uniden.com/pdf/CXAI5198om.pdf

The first thing you need to do is set up a security pin for the remote access, see pg 42 of the manual

Then see pg 49 for remote instructions.

Basically set up the pin, call your house and during the answering machine greeting press 0 and the pin you just set up. Follow the voice prompts to listen or delete messages.

Good Luck

Hope tis helps
