RCA P52937SG Convergence (by 7 users)
I have a RCA P52937SG that is having a convergence problem (from what I have read online). All edges are bowed in, and I cannot align red/green/blue. In the menu selection for "green centering", the green line is at the bottom of the screen and curved (due to the bowing).
I live in a rural area and am looking at having to pay well above standard rates to get this repaired (due to the distance from repair shops). I have found instructions on the web to do this yourself for other models, but not mine. I believe I can do this myself with proper instructions, as I have been a computer technician for many years.
Can anyone help me become a TV tech as well by giving some instructions? I have already had the TV apart once, but really just to take a look around and see if I could find any obvious problems!

the picture is blured around the edges how do i fix that they told me it was the convergence

Same issue. The image looks bowed and all three colours are out alignment. This happened suddenly, from one day to the next, without any preamble or symptoms.

A friend of mine has this tv. The center of the screen is in perfect convergence. The ousides both left and right bow out and will not converge. Has anyone a solution?

You said you found this for different models, Where did you find this Iam having the same problem with my rca and I dont know how to fix it and i cant find any info on how to fix it.

rcaP52937 my projection has perfectly clear picture,except for the edges are bowed all around. I have changed the ic's in the pin cushion section as well as the caps,but the edges still bow into the center. I would really appricate any help,also if I could get the info for the service menu's inside.I had the sheets but lost them in a move,very hard to adjust without them chassis#ptk195m4b .
