Question about Plantronics Explorer 340 Wireless Headset
When I hang up from a phone call, my Plantronics Explorer 340 will turn off. It's annoying b/c if I get in another call, I need to turn it back on again, connect it with the phone, then it's ready to use. By the time it's ready to use, my call has gone into voice mail!
Why is it turning off??
When you hang up from calls you are holding in the button for more than 2 seconds...This is way too long and it shuts off the headset. When you hang up, all you have to do is press the button quickly, until it clicks, and the call is disconnected. Anything more than a second or two will turn off the headset, as explained in the manual. Holding it in when a call comes in will make the phone "ignore" the incoming call. Again, all you need is a quick push of the button until it "clicks" will answer the call, the same as hanging it up. I hope this helps you!
