I have a SSU320RHL-GB the unit works well in the automatic mode with the remote but when you try to go to the manual override the pilot will not stay lit, it lites but will not stay lit. It is very...

That is very odd. I've been in the hearth business for 15 years and have never been faced with this problem. Although, I suspect the remote receiver box is the is the culprit. To test this theory, turn the receiver box OFF. If you're unable to do that, remove the batteries from the receiver box and try operating the stove manually. If it then operates manually, it may be the reciever is wired incorrectly or the 3 position rocker switch on the stove, needs to be switched from Remote to ON. That would then override the remote receiver.

Hope this helps you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Heater won't stay on, I heard there was a recall on this item.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
I am only answering part of your question (Recall) so do not rate the post so other experts can help you with your heater won't stay on problem.
Your heater model is not one of the 4 models that were recalled.

The recall involves Holmes® models HFH6498-U, HFH6500-U and HFH6500TG-U and Bionaire® model BFH3530-U. The recalled heaters also have date codes beginning with 2604 through 3804 for all units, except for Holmes® model 6500TG-U, which has date codes ranging from 2604 through 4704. The model and date code can be found on the silver label on the back of the unit. The heater fans are 26 inches tall; come in all gray, two-tone gray, or black and gray; and have either the word Holmes® or Bionaire® printed on the front of the base.

I have the bionaire oil heater boh2513g. I placed a towel over it to dry and I think it's went into overheating safety mode because the three lights are flashing but the appliance wont come on. Is there...

Turn the Master switch to OFF and plug the heater and leave unplugged for 30 minutes, That should give it time to reset itself. If it doesn't work after that, it's probably fried.

Can't get heater to restart using remote control & 2 small green lights on heater flashing on & off

Have you tried replacing the batteries in the remote control? That may be part of the problem.
If you have already changed them, unplug the heater for 30 minutes to allow it to reset itself.

Hope that solves your problem.

I have the Bioaire Air Heater - BH3930-U. It is working but all of the lights on the front of the heater are blinking?

This is probably due to the fact that its in aux. mode. Can you tell me which lights are blinking?

My heater will not react to the remote control. I

The manufacture did change remotes for some of the remote controlled units. You may have the older remote/receiver and need to replace it with the new verison. You can find the manufacturer online at and find parts distributors.

Some of the remotes that originally came with those units did not work or last very long. The manufacturer then later offered another remote to replace the first units. It looks like the model number you provided is a serial number, not the actual model number. I suggest that you contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446 with your model number (you should be able to find it directly on your unit with the serial number you provided) and they should have that replacement available for purchase. You also can find them on-line at I hope this helps you!

Heater won't turn on, the lights keep flashing.

HI There is a product recall for this particular model of heater, you can search the internet for details on how to get the item collected by Bionair and get a full refund, these are a fire risk.
