Remote is not working

The most likely cause is a problem with the hand held remote. These units use infrared light which the eye can not see. But if you have a digital camera it can! Look at the remote through the view screen of the camera while someone pushes buttons pointing at you. If it is working you'll see a pulsing light. if not change the batteries or try a universal remote.

Re-Installing Photo Impression 4

I have finally after 2 months managed to re-install my Photo Impression 4 to my other computer. I zipped it this time and burned it to a DISC and then installed it. In my searching for a free download I saw many were looking for this which is no longer offered by Arc Soft. I will be happy to share it with anyone who wants to contact me at ccc@shentel.net. Now that I have it burned to disc in a zipped folder I can share it with anyone.....Cathy

Volume and mute buttons suddenly stopped working

Try changing the batteries. Most times the "tivo" buttons will work but the "tv" buttons will stop working when the batteries are low.

If you have done that, go back into settings and program the remote again for your tv, then give it a shot.

.. it just won't work.....

The Cloth Bag Filter has a beanbag weight in the center. It is held in place by a metal band around the outside of the filter -

there should be a loop next to the edge that you can grab and pull to the center - then the filter should come out of the upper tank. the band is flexable. powder is a big problem with any Vacuum -- DON'T use carpet powders they clogg any vacuum. sheep up what you can - when you vacuum -clean the filter and tank soon after- you can burn out the motor because of lack of air.

Codes

The codes I found that Sampo uses are 506, 519, and 698.

I have a logitech harmony remote, and I use it with my xbox 360 as well. My remote had an automatic searching system for my TV. Where I just alternated between pressing the TV OFF button and another programming button until the tv turned off, that's when it acquired the code. Your remote might have a similar function. Just a hint.

Make sure the bowl has the pin on it. The Vacuum has switch in the bottom that keeps the Vacuum from running if the bowl in not on or the little pin is broken off.
