I got a new ipod classic for xmas but can't figure out how to get my old playlists from my ipod nano onto the new ipod classic. I'm having problems even adding new songs, I add them but then they have the dreaded exclamation point beside the songs and they are not on my ipod. PLEASE help!
The following simple guidance is about transfer music from old iPod to new iPod with the "Transfer Purchases" function of iTunes:
But if you want to move the whole music library between iPods, here are better ways to help you do that:https://www.leawo.org/tutorial/how-to-transfer-music-from-old-ipod-to-new-ipod.html?=1400
You need to save all your music to your computer. itunes wont let you transfer songs. they do this because they lose money. you should be able to transfer purchases, but if you have downloaded music it wont let you
Try to transfer them from your computer and dont copy from one playlist to another..
Also make sure that you transfer the songs from one to another ipod using the same computer.. Maybe this is the problem
