DO NOT TURN IT ON AGAIN.. l did the same thing to my iPod a while back and called Apple. Their reccomendations are to let it dry out for at least two weeks and try it again. Turning it on again while the interior may be wet could fry the circuts. It nearly killed me to go without it for that length of time but, it saved me loads of money in the long run You may have to replace the battery afterwards (water seems to kill the ability to hold a charge for long) but it seems a small price to pay. Places like Radio Shack or Batteries Plus offer a full battery replacement for about 30 bucks.
