Question about Rosewill R900J 19" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
I start my computer and turn it on, and everything looks fine for about 1/4 second and then it goes black while leaving the power light green. I can only see the screen again after turning it off and on, but that's only for another 1/4 second. I try this with another computer. I had the same problem. I was checking the monitor using a strong light and shine it into the LCD. I can see the icons, window image etc. I was trying to us factory reset but it doesn't work. I removed the plastic covered both front and back. Here is my inverter board. How can I check which component would be the problem.
This model has 4 CCFl's and one of these bad will cause the inverter output to drop off.. (Safety feature).. easiest way to check is by process of elimination plugging a good CCFL from a laptop screen or similar inplace of the 4 to find the one dropping out. If all check good Check the Caps as these like to fail as well. Good luck!
